Because you can't live like torn out pages

thread, dictionary _ 2022

"Because you can't live like torn out pages" is a thought-provoking installation created by tearing numerous pages from a dictionary and then stitching them together with thread. The pages are suspended at varying heights from the ceiling to the floor with spaces in between, and the piece rotates slowly when viewers pass by or when there is a slight current of air.

The torn pages have been pieced together in a manner that only vaguely resembles their original structure. By randomly reassembling the fragments without any particular order and allowing them to move, the object remains in a constant state of illegibility.
